Only 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD, come out to Church Point and catch the ferry around the bays. Here are a few Pittwater highlights:

Visit Church Point

Bush walk in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

Arrive in the National Park via ferry. Stop along Pittwater's Western Foreshore. Take one of the many bush walks. For example:
  • Elvina Bay Fire Trail: see Aboriginal carvings at the top - don't miss the shark. See more on this walk.
  • Morning Bay Trail: walk up over Morning Bay for magnificent water views (formerly Towlers Bay). See more on this walk.
Get a map of the area on the ferry.

Picnic and stroll on Scotland Island

  • Get off at Tennis Wharf for a picnic in Katherine Park (located at the wharf).
  • Bring your swimmers and cool off when the tide's in.
  • Look across to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Relax and enjoy.
Tennis Wharf and the surrounding roadway are wheelchair and pram accessible. Picnic tables, a playground and a BBQ are available in the park.
